Background
A British/Irish born Chinese student that has graduated from the University of Ulster at Magee 2007/2008. My major was Bsc (Hons) Multimedia Computing & Design DIS.
I am also a graduate of Bournemouth University since November 2010. My major was MA 3D Computer Animation.
From a Multimedia/IT background, I have worked for a web design company named ITS New Media during my placement year in 2006/2007. They are located in Newry, Northern Ireland and specializes in web design, e-commerce, web hosting, internet marketing and many more. From there, I have learned about many aspects of internet marketing, helped designing different media elements in many projects, had experience on communicating with clients.
I have also attended a one week Flash animation summer school course in Dundalk Institute back in summer 2006. This was run by the Digital Diversity and there were other course available as well.
During the Academic year 2009/2010, I attended a 3D Computer Animation course in Bournemouth Univeristy located in UK. I have learned the general processes of 3D Modelling, Rigging, Animation and Composition. For now, my interests lies within 3D Modelling. My Final Masters Project can be viewed in the 3D Works section.
For 3D Works, I have a working knowledge with SoftImage XSI, basic knowledge with 3DMax and Nuke, a knowledge of painting textures using ZBrush.
For 2D illustration works, I work in various styles with different mediums.
For traditional mediums, I work with soft & oil pastels, pen & ink, screentone, alcohol colour markers, colouring pencils & pencils.
I also use various computer software for digital/multimedia work, including Photoshop, SAI, Fireworks, Illustrator, Premier, Dreamweaver & Flash.
I am also fluent in English and Cantonese Chinese.
My current interests lies within 3D Modelling and texturing. My other hobbies/interests include drawing, illustrations, graphic design, manga, anime, animation, translating Chinese to English reading materials for fun, surfing net, playing computer games, thinking up concepts for computer games and stories, learning the Japanese language very slowly.
My latest works were creating illustrations for a new brand clothes company Cerise, based in AUE. Also, I have been creating graphics for a Flash game called The Lonely Square by Jania Abigail.
